  • Images: Photos uploaded for businesses, deals, or listings (automatically compressed client-side from up to 3.5MB to approximately 800KB before transmission)
  • Communications: Information you provide when contacting customer support or responding to surveys
  • Payment Information: Payment data for promotional services processed through Google Play Store or Apple App Store (we do not directly collect credit card numbers)

3.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use our Services, we automatically collect certain information:

  • Device Information: Device type, operating system, browser type and version, screen resolution
  • Usage Data: Features used, actions taken, time and duration of use, pages viewed, click patterns, and navigation paths
  • Log Data: IP address, access times, referring URLs, error reports and diagnostics
  • Performance Data: Website performance metrics, error reports, and page load times

3.3 Search and Activity Information

We collect and maintain records of your search queries and activity within our Services to personalize your experience:

  • Important: Your precise location data is used only temporarily to show nearby deals, businesses, and listings and is NOT permanently stored on our servers

3.5 Payment Processing & Financial Data

All payment processing for promotional services is handled by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment provider. We do not store or process your credit card information on our servers. You remain on our website during checkout, and payment details are securely transmitted directly to Stripe.

  • Stripe Payment Data: Stripe handles all payment card data (card numbers, CVV, expiration dates) according to their Privacy Policy at stripe.com/privacy. Stripe retains payment records for compliance and fraud prevention purposes as outlined in their terms.
  • Transaction Records: We store transaction identifiers, amounts paid, promotion tiers selected, promotion durations, and transaction timestamps for order fulfillment and customer support.
  • Refund Data: We record content creation timestamps to verify refund eligibility within our 1-hour refund window policy.
  • Promotion Status: We maintain records of promotion levels, expiration dates, and promotion history to deliver the services you purchased.
  • Data Security: All payment-related communications are encrypted using TLS/SSL. Access to transaction data is restricted to authorized personnel only.

3.6 Chat and Messaging Data

Messages sent through our chat feature are automatically deleted 31 days after creation, regardless of read or unread status. Conversations without active messages are automatically removed. We do not store message backups or provide recovery after expiration. Users should take screenshots of important conversations before they expire. The chat feature is available only to logged-in users for one-on-one conversations with business and listing publishers. Messages are delivered via periodic polling when you have the chat open or are logged in; real-time push notifications are not provided. Messages are automatically marked as read when you scroll through them in the conversation view. Rate limits of 50 messages per minute per user apply to prevent spam and abuse.

For your protection, avoid sharing personal, financial, government ID, health, or other sensitive information in chat. Any details you choose to disclose are at your own risk, and we are not liable for misuse by other parties. Please report suspicious behavior to support@prosanddeals.com.

3.7 Information from Third Parties

  • Firebase Authentication: Authentication tokens and user identifiers for secure account access
  • Analytics Providers: Aggregated analytics data about app usage and performance
  • Advertising Partners: Advertising identifiers and attribution data (Google AdMob)
  • Affiliate Networks: Deal and offer information from third-party affiliate partners

4. How We Use Your Information

9.2 Account Deletion

You have the right to delete your account at any time from within the app or by contacting support@prosanddeals.com. Upon account deletion:

  • Your Personal Information will be removed from our active databases
  • Your email address and associated data will be permanently deleted
  • All linked Facebook and Instagram social media connections will be automatically unlinked and all stored access tokens will be permanently deleted from our servers
  • This action is irreversible
  • Some information may be retained for legal compliance purposes
  • Aggregated or anonymized data may be retained for analytics

9.3 Privacy Rights (California Residents - CCPA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA):

11. Third-Party Services and Advertising

11.1 Third-Party Integrations

  • Firebase Authentication: Secure user authentication and account management
  • Google AdMob: Mobile advertising to support our free services
  • Push Notifications: Deal alerts and updates (with your permission)
  • Analytics: Usage and performance analytics

11.2 Affiliate Programs

We participate in third-party affiliate programs to provide promotional deals. We may earn commissions on qualifying purchases made through our platform. When you interact with affiliate deals, you may be subject to the privacy practices of our affiliate partners.

11.3 Advertising

We use Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use certain information for personalized advertising. You can opt-out of personalized advertising through your device settings or at https://adssettings.google.com.

11.4 Social Media Integration (Facebook & Instagram)

Business owners may optionally connect their Facebook Page and/or Instagram Business Account to Pros & Deals to enable automatic deal posting. Here is how we handle data related to this integration:

  • Data We Collect from Meta: When you authorize the integration via the Facebook OAuth flow, we receive and securely store: (a) a Facebook Page access token that permits Pros & Deals to publish posts to your selected Page; (b) a long-lived user access token used exclusively for automatic token refresh; and (c) your Facebook Page name and Page ID for display within the app.
  • Data We Share with Meta: When you publish a deal and opt-in to social posting, Pros & Deals sends the following to Meta's APIs on your behalf: deal title, deal description, deal images, and your business city and state. No other personal information is transmitted to Meta during posting.
  • APIs Used: Pros & Deals uses the Facebook Graph API (v25.0) and the Instagram Content Publishing API to post content on your behalf.
  • Token Security: All access tokens are encrypted using AES encryption before storage. Tokens are never transmitted to the frontend or logged in plaintext.
  • Automatic Token Refresh: To ensure uninterrupted service, Pros & Deals automatically refreshes your Facebook access token approximately every 7 days. If Meta revokes your authorization (for example, if you remove Pros & Deals from Facebook Settings → Apps & Websites), Pros & Deals detects this and displays a re-link prompt in your Profile Settings. We never silently delete your connection record; the linked page name remains visible with a re-link indicator.
  • Revoking Access: You may disconnect the integration at any time via Profile Settings → Social Media tab within Pros & Deals, or directly via Facebook Settings → Apps & Websites. Upon disconnection, Pros & Deals will no longer post to your accounts and your stored tokens will be removed from our systems.
  • Meta Privacy Policies: Content posted on your behalf is subject to Meta's data practices. We encourage you to review Meta's Privacy Policy and Instagram's Privacy Policy.
  • Data Use Restrictions: Facebook and Instagram Platform Data obtained via Meta APIs is used exclusively to publish deals to your connected accounts on your behalf. This data is never sold, rented, licensed, or shared with any third party for commercial purposes. It is never used for advertising targeting, user profiling, surveillance, or any purpose other than the deal posting feature you explicitly authorized. This complies with Meta's Platform Terms prohibiting the sale of Platform Data and prohibiting its use to build or augment user profiles.
  • Data Retention: Facebook and Instagram access tokens are retained only for as long as your social media connection is active. Tokens are permanently and immediately deleted when you unlink your account via Pros & Deals Profile Settings or when your Pros & Deals account is deleted. If Meta revokes your authorization, the invalidated tokens are detected and removed within the next automated refresh cycle (within 7 days). No Facebook or Instagram Platform Data is retained beyond the duration of your active connection.

11.5 Facebook & Instagram Permissions We Request and Why

When you authorize Pros & Deals via Facebook Login, we request only the minimum permissions required to provide the social posting feature. Below is a plain-language explanation of each permission:

instagram_content_publishAllows Pros & Deals to publish image posts to your Instagram Business or Creator account on your behalf when you publish a deal and opt-in to Instagram posting. This permission is only used when you have at least one deal image, as Instagram requires an image to publish.

What we do NOT request: Pros & Deals does not request permissions to read your personal Facebook profile, access your friends list, read your private messages, manage your Facebook ads, or access any data beyond what is listed above.

11.6 How to Remove Your Social Media Data from Our Servers

You have full control over your social media connections. Follow these steps to remove your social media data from Pros & Deals:

Option 1 — Unlink within Pros & Deals (Recommended)

  1. Sign in to your account at www.prosanddeals.com
  2. Click your profile icon and open Profile Settings
  3. Navigate to the Social Media tab
  4. Locate the business whose social media you want to disconnect
  5. Click Unlink next to Facebook or Instagram and confirm
  6. Your access tokens and page data will be immediately deleted from our servers

Option 2 — Revoke via Facebook Settings

  1. Go to Facebook Settings → Apps & Websites
  2. Find Pros & Deals in the list
  3. Click Remove and confirm
  4. Pros & Deals will detect the revocation and flag your connection for re-linking (the stored tokens become invalid and will be cleaned up automatically)

Option 3 — Delete Your Pros & Deals Account

Deleting your Pros & Deals account automatically unlinks all connected social media accounts across all your businesses and removes all stored tokens from our servers.

  1. Sign in and open Profile Settings
  2. Navigate to the Delete Account tab
  3. Enter your password and type DELETE to confirm
  4. All social media connections, tokens, and personal data are permanently removed

12. Children's Privacy

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with Personal Information without your consent, please contact us immediately at support@prosanddeals.com. We will take steps to delete such information from our systems.

13. International Data Transfers

Our Services are currently available in the United States and Canada, with plans to expand to additional regions. Your information is stored and processed on servers located in the United States. If you access our Services from outside the United States, please be aware that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

14. Do Not Track Signals

Some web browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Our Services do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals. However, you may opt out of certain tracking as described in this Policy.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Policy on our website with a new “Last Updated” date
  • Sending an email notification to registered users
  • Displaying an in-app notification

Important: ProDeal APP LLC is not responsible for transactions between users. We provide a platform for connecting buyers and sellers but do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of items listed, the truth or accuracy of listings, or the ability of users to complete transactions.

PRODE APP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES OR ANY BREACH OF SECURITY OR UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO YOUR DATA, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE INCIDENT OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100).
