Welcome to the Pros & Deals community! These Community Guidelines exist to ensure that our platform remains a safe, respectful, and trustworthy marketplace for everyone — customers, business owners, and listing publishers alike. By using our Platform, you agree to follow these guidelines. Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or termination, at our sole discretion.

These guidelines supplement our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy. If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it using the flag feature or contact us at support@prosanddeals.com.

1. Authentic and Accurate Content

All content published on Pros & Deals must be truthful, accurate, and not misleading. This includes:

• Deals and Promotions: Only post deals, discounts, or promotions that are real, current, and accurately described. Do not post expired deals or deals that do not reflect the actual terms.
• Business Information: Provide accurate business names, addresses, contact information, categories, and descriptions. Do not impersonate other businesses or individuals.
• Listings: Listings for Yard Sales, Moving Sales, Lost & Found, and Giveaways must accurately represent the items and their condition. Do not list items you do not have or do not intend to make available.
• Reviews and Ratings: Submit honest reviews based on genuine experiences. Do not post fake reviews, incentivized reviews without disclosure, or reviews for businesses or deals you have not interacted with.
• Images: Only upload images that accurately represent the deal, product, listing, or business. Do not use misleading, stock, or unrelated images to misrepresent your offerings.

2. AI-Generated and Representative Images

Some images displayed on Pros & Deals for deals, businesses, or listings may be AI-generated or representative stock images rather than actual photographs of the product, service, or location. These images are for illustrative purposes only.

• Visit the Vendor's Website: Always visit the vendor's official website to view actual product images before making a purchase or visiting a location.
• No False Representation: Publishers must not use AI-generated or stock images to intentionally misrepresent a product, service, or business. Images should give users a fair and honest impression.
• Disclosure Encouraged: If you use AI-generated or illustrative images, we encourage you to note this in your deal or listing description so users are fully informed.
• No Liability: Pros & Deals is not responsible for discrepancies between images shown on the Platform and the actual appearance of any product, service, or business.

3. Intellectual Property and Copyright

Respect the intellectual property rights of others. When you post content on Pros & Deals, you represent that:

• You own the content you post, or you have obtained the necessary rights, permissions, and licenses to post it.
• Your content does not infringe the copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of any third party.
• Images uploaded must be original photos, photos you have permission to use, or images licensed for commercial use. Do not use watermarked images, celebrity photos, or copyrighted brand images without authorization.
• Do not post content that includes trademarked logos or brand names in a way that falsely implies affiliation, endorsement, or sponsorship.

Copyright infringement claims should be submitted via our DMCA Policy page.

4. Prohibited Content

The following content is strictly prohibited on our Platform:

• Illegal Content: Content that promotes, facilitates, or depicts illegal activities, including but not limited to the sale of illegal goods, controlled substances, counterfeit items, stolen property, or any other unlawful activity.
• Dangerous or Harmful Items: Deals or listings for weapons, firearms, ammunition, explosives, hazardous materials, or any item that poses a risk to public safety.
• Adult Content: Sexually explicit, obscene, or adult-only content. Pros & Deals is a family-friendly platform.
• Hateful Content: Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites hatred, discrimination, or violence against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
• Harassment and Threats: Content that harasses, intimidates, bullies, or threatens other users or individuals. This includes malicious reviews, doxxing, or posting personal information without consent.
• Spam and Misleading Deals: Repetitive, low-quality, or fraudulent deals designed to mislead consumers. Do not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or inflate engagement.
• Misinformation: Content that is demonstrably false and could deceive consumers or harm the reputation of legitimate businesses.
• Privacy Violations: Content that contains personal information about individuals without their consent, including phone numbers, addresses, financial information, or any other private data.
• Malware and Phishing: Content containing links to malware, phishing sites, or any content designed to compromise user security or collect information deceptively.

5. Respectful Communication

All interactions on Pros & Deals — including reviews, messages, and public content — should be respectful and constructive.

• Treat all community members, business owners, and platform operators with courtesy and respect.
• Constructive criticism and honest negative reviews are acceptable, but personal attacks, vulgar language, and abusive behavior are not.
• Do not use our chat or messaging features to send unsolicited commercial messages (spam), harassment, or inappropriate content.
• Do not use our Platform to collect or harvest personal information from other users.

6. Deals and Promotions Standards

To ensure a trustworthy marketplace for consumers, all deals and promotions must meet the following standards:

• Transparency: Clearly disclose all terms, conditions, exclusions, and expiration dates associated with deals.
• Availability: Do not post deals for products or services that are out of stock or unavailable. Remove or update deals that are no longer valid.
• Compliance with Advertising Laws: All promotional content must comply with applicable advertising laws and regulations, including FTC guidelines on endorsements and testimonials.
• No Bait-and-Switch: Do not advertise deals you intend to use as a bait-and-switch to sell consumers different or more expensive products or services.
• External Links: If your deal links to an external website, ensure those links are to legitimate, safe websites that accurately represent the deal.

7. Business and Professional Conduct

Business owners and professionals registered on our Platform must:

• Provide accurate and verifiable business information during registration and keep it up to date.
• Honor all deals, promotions, and offers published on the Platform as advertised.
• Respond to customer inquiries and messages promptly and professionally.
• Not engage in anti-competitive practices, including artificially manipulating reviews or ratings of competitor businesses.
• Comply with all applicable business licensing, zoning, consumer protection, and other applicable laws and regulations.

8. Reporting Violations

We rely on our community to help keep Pros & Deals safe. If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it:

• Flag Content: Use the flag icon on deals, businesses, and listings to report content that appears to be expired, inaccurate, or in violation of these guidelines.
• Contact Support: For serious violations, privacy concerns, or issues not addressed by the flag feature, contact us at support@prosanddeals.com or use our Contact Us form.
• DMCA Notices: For copyright infringement issues, submit a formal notice through our DMCA Policy page.

We review all reports and take action where necessary. Abuse of the reporting system to harass or silence legitimate content is itself a violation of these guidelines.

9. Enforcement

Violations of these Community Guidelines may result in:

• Content removal or editing;
• Temporary suspension of account privileges;
• Permanent termination of the account;
• Referral to law enforcement for serious violations;
• Legal action for damages caused to the Platform, other users, or third parties.

We reserve the right to remove any content and/or suspend or terminate any account that we determine, in our sole discretion, violates these guidelines or our Terms & Conditions. Our decisions are final.

We may update these Community Guidelines from time to time. We will notify users by updating the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated guidelines.
